Radiator – Coolant leak

A very slow coolant leak seemed to come from the plastic ends of the original radiator. More information here (blog), here (blog), here (blog) and here (Pistonheads)

This was fixed by TVR Power on through the fitting of a new alloy radiator, and the use of a silicone hose kit (which is primarily for show).

Hopefully the cooling system is now well-sorted. On the drive home the cruising coolant / oil temps were 70C, which seems plenty low for a 10c air temperature. Temperatures soon increased to the 80s while in traffic.

This radiator should last a lot longer than the stock item.
